First residents get set for move in day at The Guildhall

Seven apartments have been sold off plan at a luxury apartment scheme under construction in Tenby.

The Guildhall is an £8m re-development project comprising two Grade II listed sea-front buildings – The Guildhall and Glendower House into 20 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and one five-bedroom town house.

Overlooking North Beach and harbour between the Norton and Croft, the four-storey development was previously home to the offices and council chamber of Tenby Town Council.

Wayne Rees, director at development company Macob (Tenby) said: “The Guildhall is a fantastic development in a much sought after location right on the seafront.

“Construction is progressing well and Glendower House, which comprises 10 apartments, will be ready to move into later this month.”

The apartments benefit from high specification including fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances, porcelain tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, video entry system and lift.

Giles Birt of property agent Birt and Company said: “The Guildhall has been designed to complement and blend into the existing Georgian street scene that dominates The Croft.

“It is unusual in the current market to be selling off plan. The apartments offer exceptional living space and are being snapped up due to the development’s location right in the heart of the town, the sea view and undercroft parking facilities.”

Prices start from £275,000 and the final phase, comprising Nash House and the Court House is on target for completion in Spring 2012.

An open weekend is planned for next month. To register your interest in attending, contact Birt & Co on 01834 842204 or email sales@charlesbirt.co.uk
