MACOB Holdings

The Macob Group was established in 1981 and employs over 400 staff. The Group has a current annual turnover in excess of £40 million.

Our winning formula was established in South Wales, where the Group is based. This is founded on strong customer relationships and investing in our staff, our greatest asset. This strategy has been successfully exported to England, where the group has regional offices in Manchester and Chichester.

Our focus is on building long term relationships with our customers, which, together with our ability to deliver complex projects, ensures customer loyalty and provides our

Principles for growth

Whilst some of our progress has resulted from geographic expansion, the majority has emanated from organic growth. We have a reputation for delivering complex projects on time and on budget. Our customer loyalty is second to none, recognising that we have the skills and systems in place to cope with every demand.

The response to any opportunity is based on innovative and flexible solutions coupled with an entrepreneurial overview. This philosophy sets Macob apart from most competitors and attracts ambitious schemes, which has fuelled growth. In turn, the profit generated is continually re-invested to further the Group's ambitions to be a dominant force in the construction industry.

Firm foundations for the future

The growth can only be achieved through the quality and dexterity of our staff. We invest in our people, giving responsibilty and demanding accountability from an early stage in their careers. We have established a young and committed management team who have graduated from this strategy. They understand not only the construction marketplace but also the needs of the client, which is a fundamental element in our approach to business.

Financial Performance

Since the company's turnover peaked at £75 million in 2001, we have slowly consolidated and focused on improved operating margins. We now have a settled turnover in the region of £40 million and £50 million. The profit generated is continually reinvested meaning that the group is becoming more self-sufficient.
