Wales International Business Park
Development could provide 8,000 jobs
Negotiations are under way to bring an ambitious £200m scheme to a site adjacent to junction 33 of the M4, which is being heralded as the biggest private sector investment ever seen in Wales.
Planning proposals have been submitted for Wales International Business Park - a one million sq ft office development accommodating 8,000 jobs, and creating a world-class business location capable of attracting national and international headquarter operations. Plans include a regional transport hub, remote airport check-in facility, park and ride and five-star hotel. In the long-term, the scheme has capacity of expansion to a total of 2.5 million sq ft with an end value of £750 million.
Wales International Business Park is a joint venture between Westgate Park (Macob Projects and Hodge Curzon Holdings) and Welsh Assembly Government.
